Washers for Binding Screws

Washers for metal binding screws – for a variable fill height. If you're already using our standard metal binding screws with a brass-plated or nickel-plated surface and bind your documents and menus using this tried and trusted method, then you're bound to be interested in our washers for metal binding screws. Perhaps there's already been an occasion when you've had to reduce the fill height when using our binding screws, e.g. in the case of sample collections, colour fans or menus which were fastened together by using our metal or plastic binding screws. Our binding screw washers have a hole diameter of approx. 5.4 mm to match our binding screws. So it's easy to reduce the fill height. The binding screw washers are 1 mm thick. So you can reduce the depth of the holder for the binding screws by one or two millimetres. Therefore you don't necessarily need to swap the existing binding screws for a different binding screw with a lower fill height. It should also be noted that the binding screw washers have an external diameter of 12 mm which considerably enlarges the contact surface. The larger contact surface can accordingly generate much greater stability. Which means that the binding screws together with the binding screw washers can also be used for larger fastening projects. The brass-or nickel-plated surface of the binding screw washers means that they blend perfectly into the overall look and don't look obtrusive together with our brass- or nickel-plated binding screws. We should like to point out that the brass- and nickel-plated surface is in each case a surface finish and does not provide any corrosion resistance. These binding screw washers are therefore not suitable for long-term use in a damp environment. However, you can also use the binding screw washers together with our plastic binding screws. The hole diameter is also suitable for the shank of the plastic binding screw, and the fill height can be correspondingly reduced or adjusted by 1 or 2 millimetres. The external diameter of the binding screw washers is 12 mm – the same size as the screw heads of our plastic binding screws, so they provide a flush fit. The washer does not look out of place when used with a plastic binding screw. In order to provide all our customers with excellent product safety, both the brass-plated and nickel-plated binding screw washers comply with the REACH Regulation and the SVHC provisions.
