Extensions for Binding Screws

If you are already familiar with our brass or nickel-plated binding screws and have used them to bind your documents, books or photo albums, then as the fill height increases in line with the number of documents or pages you won't necessarily need to replace the existing binding screws with new ones. Simply take a look at our pure brass and nickel-plated brass extensions for binding screws which we stock as one of our really useful accessories for binding screws. With these useful binding screw extensions you can increase the fill height of the binding screws that you're already using, and so you can carry on using the existing screw head. By doing so you maintain and enhance the value of your folders, and you simultaneously save resources and do your bit for the environment. However, the extensions can't only be used for books, photo albums and documents. Our binding screw extensions have a versatile range of uses and can be used in, for instance, industrial settings or for building displays as a way of spanning or extending corresponding distances. The extensions for binding screws have a shaft diameter of 5 mm which corresponds to the shaft diameter of our binding screws. The size of the inner and outer thread is M4 in each case. The fill height goes from just 4 mm in increments all the way up to 30 mm. The material from which the binding screw extensions are made is pure brass or pure brass with a nickel-plated surface finish. Neither the pure brass material nor the nickel-plated surface finish are corrosion-resistant, and they are consequently not suitable for long-term use in wet environments. You can use the 4 mm extension for binding screws as from a binding screw fill height of 3.5 mm. The 5 mm extension for binding screws can be used as from a binding screw fill height of 7 mm. So our binding screw extensions together with our binding screws cater for a wide range of fill heights. The minimum number of extensions that can be ordered for pure brass binding screws or binding screws with a nickel-plated surface is 100 in each case, so you can undertake small orders for your customers. In order to be able to provide you, our customer, with excellent product safety, the extensions for pure brass binding screws and for binding screws with a nickel-plated surface comply with the REACH Regulation including the SVHC provisions.
